How To Prepare For An Interview

You have been applying, networking and following up. Finally you land an interview! Awesome! Now you have to prepare.

Be sure to:

  • Research the company

  • Research the people that you are interviewing with on LinkedIn or on the company website

  • Reread the job description and make sure you are able to link your experience and skills with the job

Practice as many interview questions as you can. Here are a few examples of common interview questions:

  • Why do you want to work here?

  • Why are you interested in this position?

  • What are your greatest strengths/weaknesses?

In addition to these, you should also take steps to prepare answers to behavioral interview questions and ask thoughtful questions if given the chance at the end of an interview.

Always send a thank you note no later than 48 hours after interviewing .

If you can, practice interviewing with a friend or an interview coach. Get your session today starting from $49 for half an hour.

Good luck!!!
